As Britain continues to reel from the shock of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex disengaging from royal duties (a nation of monocles dropped in soup as one!) a timeline of clues has begun to emerge.

According to Deadline, the surprise announcement (of which Queen Elizabeth II had no prior knowledge), Meghan had already secured a position of sorts with the only organization with branding on a level of the British Crown, the Walt Disney Corporation.

The Duchess agreed to provide voiceover work to an unspecified future Disney project in exchange for a donation to the charity organization Elephants Without Borders. While this does not answer the question many have about the departing couple — what are they going to do to pay the bills? — it hints at where their prospects may lie.

Additionally, PEOPLE.com dug into their archives to find video of pre-screening schmooze during the London premiere of The Lion King. Initially all eyes were on Meghan making small talk with Beyoncé and Jay-Z, but elsewhere in the mix is a conversation between Harry and Disney head Bob Iger.

“You know she does voiceovers,” Harry says of Meghan, to whom he’d been married for just over a year at the time. The Disney chief's response (“Oh, really?”) inspired Harry to continue “she’s really interested.”

“Sure,” PEOPLE reports Iger replying. “We’d love to try.”

With Meghan and Harry eyeing Canada as home for the foreseeable future, perhaps we should expect the next Disney Princess to double as a hockey star or maple syrup magnate.
