Vanessa Paradis: 'Why would I fix my teeth? I can spit water through them.'

Johnny Depp's ex is perfectly happy with her dodgy dentistry.
Finding a photo of Vanessa Paradis with her mouth open is a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack, but despite the singer's preference for closed-mouth smiles on the red carpet, she's perfectly happy with her dodgy dentistry.
The gap-toothed French beauty, whose unique smile could easily be mistaken for that of a Brit, has never felt the need to get her teeth straightened.
"Why would I fix them? I was born with them," she says in a recent interview with Harpers Bazaar. "I can spit water through them. They're useful!"
In France, teeth like Vanessa's are known as "les dents du Bonheur", or "lucky teeth", according to Harpers.
The 39-year-old adds that she's never had any cosmetic work done, and she doesn't plan to.
"I don't work in America, so I don't feel the pressure," she tells the mag.
Vanessa's ex, Johnny Depp, never had any complaints about her imperfect pearly yellows whites.
