Our
Story

Launched in 2014 by filmmaker Erika Olde, Black Bicycle Entertainment develops, finances and produces commercial and prestige feature films as well as documentaries.

The LA-based company is a talent-friendly home for filmmakers to pursue bold, character-driven material. Black Bicycle Entertainment financed and produced Hallie Meyers-Shyer's Home Again, starring Reese Witherspoon, which Open Road released in North America; and Susanna White's Woman Walks Ahead starring Jessica Chastain, which A24 recently acquired following its Toronto International Film Festival premiere.

The Black Bicycle Entertainment slate also includes Whitney Cumming's The Female Brain, which made its world premiere at the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival; and November Criminals starring Ansel Elgort and Chloe Grace Moretz for Sony Worldwide Acquisitions.
